And now for a change of pace... I could not resist sharing these. They were sent to me by a friend in Bahrain, attributed to someone named Bill Doyle. I hope you enjoy them. Everyone needs a good laugh once in a while!
Below are nominees for Contractor of the Year Award. The winner is the final one.
lol these are hysterical . I love watching home renos but never knew it could be as bad as this .
ReplyDeleteThe last one should be entitled "Stereo".
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
THese made me smile. Creative humour I should say
ReplyDeleteHilarious! I can't believe any of that could really be true!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering who the adorable girl is in your sidebar...
thanks for the laugh! That first one..I've seen some houses here that could rival that driveway.
ReplyDeleteLove the winner. Talk about getting up close and personal. Love it!
Those are really funny! You are right that we all need a laugh - - - or many of them.
ReplyDeleteThank you, all of you, for your comments. I am glad all of you enjoyed the photos. They are real.
ReplyDeleteAnne, the girl in the photo on the sidebar is my granddaughter, Stanford University Hospital's miracle baby of 2009. She lived! (The link under her picture will take you back to the early posts on all her surgeries, but I think you saw those at the time.) She is growing faster, is cute as a button, and loves everything about life -- always has a smile. She is not totally whole; she is still missing some body parts, and others are jerry-rigged, but her life is no longer in danger, so the rest we can handle. No one would ever know by looking at her! Or watching her. Or listening to her -- she is starting to talk now, and there is nothing wrong with her brain! She really is a miracle story. (And Stanford forgave my son's share of the $2 million medical care tag. That has to be some kind of miracle, too.)
Betty, I'm just now catching up... I have laughed out loud with those pictures. Hilarious!
ReplyDeleteDoris
You just said "they are real". Oh, please tell me you mean "real Photoshop". Truly funny.
ReplyDeleteThese are a hoot!
ReplyDeleteThey are all explainable, if for poor reasons. In the case of the stairs - very poor (I am guessing the construction drawing was a straight on view and the construction supervisor didn't realize that was supposed to be a landing. The final picture probably met a code requirement (a letter of the law sort of thing).
I like them all. I especially like the one where the stairs lead to nothing.
ReplyDelete"The perfect skydiving place!"
Do you have any more? I looked but was not able to find any different ones.
